Triangle with Squares 5: Median and Altitude. Level: High School, SAT Prep, College geometry.

Squares ABDE and BCGH are constructed on the sides AB and BC of triangle ABC. The median BM of the triangle formed externally between the squares is also the altitude of triangle ABC. Also BM = AC/2.
