San Blas Church is on the little square in the San Blas neighborhood of Cusco. The pulpit of San Blas, arguably Latin America's most ornate, is an intricately carved 17th-century cedar pulpit hewn from a single tree trunk and dominated by the triumphant figure of Christ.

Inside the church is one of the greatest jewels of colonial art in the continent: the Pulpit of Saint Blaise; which is a filigree made in cedar wood by expert hands managing a gouge. The preserved stone walls of Coricancha are among the most impressive examples of the world-famous Inca architecture.
