Robert Lee Frost (1874 – 1963) is, in the
estimation of many, the greatest American poet of the 20th century and one
of the greatest poets writing in English in the 20th century. Frost won a
Pulitzer Prize in 1924, 1931, 1937, and 1943. His works explore the
relationships between individuals and between people and nature. "The Road
Not Taken" first appeared in his collection 'Mountain Interval' in 1916.
