The Porsche 911 and Geometric Art is a mosaic of changing symmetrical patterns
of the new Porsche 911 with Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG).
The Porsche 911 is probably the most
popular and most typical sports car, not only in Germany where the car was
developed and manufactured, but also all over the world. The famous,
distinctive and durable car has undergone continuous development since its
introduction in 1964. Mechanically it is notable for being rear engined and,
until the introduction of the all-new Type 996 in 1999, air-cooled. All 911s
use six-cylinder boxer engines.

Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG).For the
first time the power unit of the new Porsche 911 Turbo features an exhaust
gas turbocharger with variable turbine geometry (VTG) for efficient control
of the exhaust gas flow throughout the entire range of engine speed, guiding
the flow of air in exactly the right direction and at the right angle to the
turbine blades. Allowing the 480-hp 911 Turbo to reach a higher torque
plateau in a wider rpm range. Go from 0-60 in 3.4 seconds (with the optional
Tiptronic S transmission) and reach a top track speed of 193 mph.
